Skipped hotel's breakfast and tried 街边早餐. Wah I tell you, I never had such a delicious and cheap breakfast in Taiwan before. This ham and egg crepe is heavenly~

Bought tickets for 高铁 (High Speed Rail) to 高雄. Tickets are damn expensive, S$60 per person. But it's worth a try cos the experience is exclusive. Train speed is 300km/h, entire journey is super pleasant and smooth.

Stopped over at few stations:

• 台中 Looks village type, filled with agriculture plantation. The tallest building is at most 3 storey high.
• 台南 Super lok kok.
• 高雄 Looks like JB, shocked to see a multistorey carpark.

They even broadcast the weather on train.

Terminal: 左营. This part of Taiwan is so rundown yet their high rail speed station looks so posh, just like an airport terminal.

Bought a pair of sneakers from this aunty. Love it so much, cost me NT550.

Dar Dar buying mrt tickets to 高雄

Everybody was looking at us like we're some aliens. Maybe it's because we're too dressed up, people in 高雄 wore simple clothings.

Preceed to 85大楼next, felt that our money and time were wasted. Nothing to see at all.

Don ever drop NT10 into this machine, our pasar malam kid's binocular works better than it.

Steamboat lunch at Lemongrass Restaurant, must try! Their soupbase is so innovative, as it's name suggest - lemongrass soupbase. They even serve 2 jugs of lemongrass tea, 1 original the other unsweetened.

Our jaws dropped when the waitress served us 2 portion of food. We requested to share only 1 portion and still couldn't finish it.

Never thought 汤圆 could be added into steamboat. Didn't I say they're innovative?

Trained to 三多Shopping District

Nothing to shop, trained back to 高雄station. Don think I ever wanna step into 高雄again unless they're able to 'upgrade' themselves.

Took high speed rail back to Taipei

Spooky theme hotel in Ximending

Had a hard time searching for this restaurant, Modern Toilet. Another place that wasted our time. money and effort. Their food sucks! The only attracting point is their 'shit-themed' food. We threw away 80% of our food, only Dar Dar finished his set. I merely sat there to criticise their food.

Told Dar Dar I saw DAISO at Eslite building, so we took lift up to take a look. Bought hair accessory and eyebrow twiser there.
